Vietnam is not only famous for its amazing scenery with beautiful places to visit in Vietnam but also for the huge variety of food. Vietnamese people are very friendly and welcoming to all the tourists around the world, especially Indian travelers. One of the unique ways of showing hospitality in Vietnam is that we try to make you happy with food. Understanding the Indians’ eating habits, there are lots of  restaurants serving Indian food in Vietnam so the tourists can enjoy meals that taste like home-made. By following this list, you will have some good restaurants with affordable prices.

1.Jain food and Vegetarian food in Vietnam

For Indian tourists, some will not eat pork or beef, usually, tourists will come and try chicken dishes in Vietnam such as chicken pho, a special hot meal that travelers should not miss in Vietnam. Among them, some tourists will choose to eat vegetarian or Jain food. In Vietnam, healthy eating is gradually becoming more popular, people tend to eat more vegetarian food, so it will not be difficult for you to find a vegetarian restaurant in Vietnam; in particular, vegetarian dishes in Vietnam are elaborately prepared, attracting tourists but also contributing to expressing Vietnamese culinary culture.

Although Jain food is available in Vietnam, most of it is still mainly vegetarian, so you will need to put more effort into finding a pure Jain food restaurant. However, tourists can still visit restaurants and should still ask clearly about the ingredients in the dishes.

Should tourists try Indian food in Vietnam? Most Indian restaurants are located in the central area, easy to move around, find and have reasonable prices, ranging from 80,000 VND to 250,000 VND (about 260,000 – 820,000 rupees for a dish). Visitors can rest assured that they will be served in English, some restaurants even have Hindi service or special discounts for Indian guests.

Visitors should remember to make a reservation before coming to get the best service because restaurants located on the main center street will often be quite crowded, some restaurants will discount if you book a table in advance or go in large numbers.
